I love discovering new foods! My client John Walsh came into the gym one day and brought me a Pluot from a local farmer's market, and it was love at first bite! 

The Pluot is a hybrid of the plum and the apricot, about 70% plum and 30% apricot, and is extremely sweet and intense in flavor. They are chock full of vitamins A and C and of course cholesterol and sodium free. 

Pluots are available from about May to September, so go pick one up today at Whole Foods or your local farmer's market. Refreshing and sweet-as-candy, pluots are summertime dessert perfection!
