If one tomato plant won't sustain your organic food needs (see last post ;)...a viable and affordable option is a home delivery service.

In Los Angeles, the husband and wife team of Earl and Denise Ciccel deliver certified organic produce from local California farms, direct to your door. They also search out fresh wild fish and free range chicken, never farmed or frozen.

Our groceries were delivered last weekend by Earl and Denise, (who often bring their daughter with them). True service with a smile, they took the time to explain the proper care and storage of each item.

We grilled the salmon a few nights ago and paired it with a kale salad, and I have to say it was the best, most fresh-tasting meal I've had in a long time. The fish was unbelievable!

Products come in boxes that include, but are not limited to (depending on the season):

Fruit Box ($35-$45/box)

Watermelon, Pineapple, Peaches, Nectarines, Plums, Bananas, Blueberries, + Almonds or Walnuts

Vegetable Box ($40-$45/box)

Kale, Lettuce, Zucchini or corn, Lettuce, Tomatoes, Scallions, White Onions, Cucumbers, Carrots, Beets, Green Olives, Spinach, Avocados, Herbs

Fresh Fish and Free Range Chicken ($75/package)

Wild Alaskan Salmon, Wild Cabo Sea Bass, Wild Hawaiian Talapia, Free Range Chicken

The amount of food was almost overwhelming, but we've frozen the fish for later use and have put more effort into our cooking. The boxes can also be customized to fit your specific needs. We spent $135.00 and by Dee's calculations we saved approximately $60.00 off our usual produce/fish bill from our local organic supermarket.

A family affair that supports local family farms, make A Time And A Season Organics a healthy and efficient choice for your family too!
